Delete your IEUM account
AboutUsAgency, Inc. provides account and data deletion for IEUM. This deletes your IEUM account data, not your Apple Account or another external sign-in account.
Delete from the app
After signing in, tap the gear icon in the top-right header (Account and privacy), choose Delete my account and data, and review what will be removed. To confirm, type DELETE and tap Delete permanently. Export any notes or recordings you want to keep before confirming.
Delete without the app
If you cannot use the app, email support@aboutusforyou.com with “IEUM account deletion” as the subject. Tell us which edition you use and the email associated with your Apple sign-in, if available. If you used Hide My Email, provide the relay address shown for IEUM in your Apple account settings. If you signed in with an invited account, tell us the username you were given. We verify account ownership before deleting records. Never send a password, verification code, or authorization token.
What is removed
Deletion covers your saved notes, prayers, uploaded audio, reading position, bookmarks and highlights, journey progress, revisit records, created journey drafts and publications, invitation records, group memberships, and your shared posts. Copies of your published journeys held in IEUM group sessions are removed too. Groups you own are closed. Other members’ original private notes remain theirs.
Native sessions are revoked. Your external provider account remains intact.
When deletion needs more time
A confirmed request closes access to the account records while deletion proceeds. If an uploaded file cannot be removed immediately, a deletion task is queued for retry. A pending status means work remains; completion is shown only after the account’s deletion work has finished. Contact support if the process shows an error or you need help checking its status.
Copies outside IEUM
Deletion cannot remove another person’s screenshots or saved copies, exported files on your device, or events you imported into a calendar app. Remove those separately in the relevant app. Deleting an account is permanent; reinstalling IEUM does not restore deleted account content.
Apple authorization
Deleting your account also requests revocation of Apple authorization. If Apple is temporarily unavailable, encrypted revocation information remains only for cleanup; return to the deletion screen to retry. If a token exchange ended without a recoverable token, we explain how to revoke the app in Apple account settings. A minimal deletion marker is retained to prevent an in-flight request from recreating deleted data.
